this maceration of grolleau gris comes from a thirty year old vineyard planted over clay and limestone. the grapes were fermented as whole bunches for a fortnight (british for a period of two weeks) before being pressed off to cuve until the following spring.

this vintage offers an increase in intensity compared to last year’s release, pouring a hazy, sunset-pink in the glass and offering autumnal scents of warm quince, blood orange and spice.

almost on the border of some orange wines. a wine that occupies that beautiful space between rosé and rouge.
