Deep red for a rosé, the wine is remarkably fruity showing berry notes along with some spice and even citrus. The wine has a somewhat saline mineral texture balanced with the forward fruit concentration. Long and persistent, this is a terrific food wine that will go with pretty much anything. 

Fun Fact: Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo is a deeply colored rosé wine made from the Montepulciano grape. Because of the dark pigmentation of the skins, even minimal skin contact with the must will result in a substantial darker rosé than is the norm.
