Hand-picked Grüner Veltliner from the east side of Seneca Lake was split into roughly equal parts, with one whole-cluster pressed and fermented in stainless steel and the other fermented on the skins and aged in decade old neutral French oak. Lively acidity lifts a textural palate with notes of bruised orchard fruit and a hint of white pepper. Amazing value!
