This is an “orange” wine that literally, no joke, smells and tastes of oranges. And rose water, apricot skins, ground ginger, fresh-dried hay, and late-August sunsets over Oregon’s coast range.

The 2024 Oregon Orange is a blend of destemmed Gewürztraminer (for spice, weight, and aromatics), and whole cluster-fermented Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc (for brightness and texture) that spent 10-months on skins in egg shaped fermenters. After pressing, the wine aged for an additional month in old French oak barrels before bottling, without fining or filtration.

The final wine is dry, textured, and tastes of orange blossoms, rosewater, and bergamot.
